The New Lenox Fire Protection District (NLFPD) is proud to announce the promotion of a new Deputy Chief and Battalion Chief.

Deputy Chief Dennis Randolph is being promoted from Battalion Chief. He started with the District as a contracted member in 2003 and was hired by the District in 2010. Deputy Chief Randolph has been a member of the Fire Investigation Team and oversees buildings, grounds, supplies and communications.

Brian Applegate is being promoted from Lieutenant to Battalion Chief. He started with the District as a contracted member in 2009 and was hired by the District in 2014. Battalion Chief Applegate has been a member of the Fire Investigation Team, Hazmat Team, Illinois Task Force 1, and served as the Department Training Officer.
